Emirates and the Museum of the Future are set to host the first Aviation Future Week in Dubai, taking place from October 15 to 17. This groundbreaking event will bring together industry leaders, government officials, and experts from across the aviation, aerospace, airfreight, maintenance, overhaul, repair, and logistics sectors to explore the future of aviation and discuss the latest technological advancements in the field. Aviation Future Week will feature an extensive exhibition showcasing cutting-edge aviation technologies, new products, and concepts. Attendees will have the opportunity to engage with industry representatives and participate in interactive workshops led by Emirates, the Museum of the Future, Emirates SkyCargo, dnata, and other key players in the aviation ecosystem. The event aims to facilitate discussions on the future of passenger travel, airfreight, logistics, AI, and extended reality (XR) technologies. Sheikh Ahmed bin Saeed Al Maktoum, Chairman and Chief Executive of Emirates Airline & Group, highlighted Dubai's strategic commitment to leveraging technology and innovation in the aviation industry. "It is fitting that Dubai is setting the stage for visionary global leaders and decision-makers in aviation and aerospace to gather for key discussions and powerful collaborations," he said. He emphasized that the event will help redefine the future of aviation, making operations more efficient and sustainable while reshaping the passenger journey. The three-day event will include keynotes, panels, and workshops. The first day will focus on air travel demand, airport infrastructure, and enhancing the passenger experience through technology. The second day will be dedicated to developments in airfreight and logistics, followed by MRO development within the region. The final day will explore the potential of Web3, AI, and XR solutions to improve workflow efficiencies and service delivery. Industry experts will discuss strategies to rethink existing processes through AI and the importance of upskilling the aviation workforce to embrace these technologies.
