Dubai-based airline Emirates has identified the peak travel days during the upcoming Eid Al Fitr holiday and issued guidelines to help passengers navigate Dubai International Airport (DXB) Terminal 3 efficiently. The airline expects the busiest departure days to be March 28 and 29 and April 5 and 6, with approximately 80,000 passengers flying out for the spring break holiday. To ensure a smooth journey, Emirates is urging travelers to arrive at the airport at least three hours before departure and be mindful of their boarding times. To speed up the check-in process, Emirates offers multiple options: • Online check-in via the Emirates website or app, available 48 hours before departure. • City Check-in & Travel Store at ICD Brookfield Place, open from 24 hours up to 4 hours before departure (except for US-bound flights). • Home check-in service for passengers at their residence or hotel. • Self-service kiosks and baggage drop facilities in Terminal 3. • Mobile check-in ports across the terminal. • Ajman Central Bus Terminal check-in for travelers from Northern Emirates, available 24 hours to 4 hours before departure. • Advance baggage drop-off, allowing passengers to leave their luggage the night before travel at no extra charge or 24 hours before departure (12 hours for US flights). Emirates advises travelers to complete passport control and security at least 90 minutes before departure. Boarding gates close 20 minutes before takeoff, and late passengers will not be accepted. The airline stresses that check-in and gate closure timings will be strictly enforced to maintain punctual departures. ICA/Expat Media
