Emirates has announced that all scheduled flights to and from Dubai remain suspended until 11:59pm on Saturday (March 7), following airspace closures across the region. Regular Emirates flights from Dubai International Airport (DXB) will resume from Sunday (March 8), subject to further updates. In a statement issued on Wednesday (March 4), Emirates said: “All scheduled Emirates flights to and from Dubai remain suspended until 2359hrs UAE time on 7 March, due to airspace closures across the region.” The airline said it continues to operate a limited flight schedule and is prioritising customers with earlier bookings on those services. Passengers transiting through Dubai will only be accepted if their onward connecting flight is operating. “Please do not go to the airport unless you have been notified directly by Emirates or hold a confirmed booking for these flights,” the airline said. Limited passenger repatriation and freighter flights are operating during the suspension period. Affected passengers will be contacted directly. Emirates said it is continuously monitoring the situation and will adjust its operational schedule as required. Travellers have been advised to check their flight status online and monitor email notifications for any changes before heading to the airport.
