Emirati killed in crash at Al Aweer petrol station

  DUBAI – A 39-year-old female Emirati motorist died after she took an abrupt turn into a petrol station in Al Aweer and crashed into a car. Police said that the crash on Monday also injured another Emirati woman and her two children. Colonel Saif Muhair Al Mazroui, Director of Dubai Traffic Police, said that the 39-year-old teacher was speeding and had taken a sharp right turn to enter the petrol station. Her Lexus car collided head-on with another vehicle. In serious condition, the teacher was airlifted to a nearby hospital but was declared dead on arrival there.
