An Emirati man died in a vehicle crash in Ras Al Khaimah that also injured the driver, according to Ras Al Khaimah Police. Police said on Wednesday that the crash happened on Shamal Street near the bridge intersection in Al Shamal Area. The police did not release details of when the accident took place. Police said that the Toyota Hilux pickup truck carrying the duo had veered off the road and crashed into a traffic signboard before overturning. Colonel Dr. Mohammed Al Bahar, acting director of the traffic and patrols department in Ras Al Khaimah Police, said the driver and the Emirati passenger were taken to the hospital where the Emirati man later died from his injuries. The driver of the vehicle remains in the hospital but is reportedly in stable condition. ICA/Expat Media
