Emirati saves 5 from sinking boat off Palm Deira

  DUBAI - An Emirati man was given honors after saving the lives of five people when their boat sank off Palm Deira. Mohammad Al Zarouni had pulled out the five, also Emirati, from the sea after their boat sank on Saturday. A large ship had passed about 25km off Palm Deira, generating big waves that capsized the private boat of the group and threw all five occupants into the water. Al Zarouni was onboard another boat when he heard the men calling out for help. He immediately jumped into the water and pulled out the men one by one.
