Ras Al Khaimah Police rescued two teenagers who were stranded in Ras Al Khaimah's Wadi Quda'ah mountains on Wednesday (August 16). The hikers, aged 16 and 17, were found in a rugged mountainous area, one of them suffering from severe heat exhaustion. He received the required first aid, and the two were then taken to Saqr Hospital for further examinations. In a statement released on Thursday (August 17), Major Abdullah Al Saman, the director of the rescue and ambulance department of the Ras Al Khaimah Police, said, “We received a report about two young Emiratis stranded in the rugged terrain of Wadi Qada’a." "Rescue teams and the air wing launched a search and rescue operation to identify their location," Major Al Saman added.
