An ordinary shopping trip turned into an extraordinary experience for Sara Al Mansoor, an Emirati resident of Dubai, who won a brand-new Chery Tiggo 8 Pro Max SUV in a mega raffle. The prize was part of the PrivilegePlus loyalty program by Mercato Mall and Town Centre Jumeirah, marking the finale to the campaign, which ran from June 25 to December 15. “I’m still in disbelief,” said Al Mansoor after receiving her keys. “I’ve always shopped at Mercato, but I never thought I’d walk away with such an incredible prize.” The giveaway coincides with the announcement of the inaugural DSF Auto Season, a first-of-its-kind event celebrating the 30th edition of the Dubai Shopping Festival (DSF). Running from January 1 to 12, 2025, the DSF Auto Season offers automotive showcases, competitions, and parades. One of the season’s highlights is the Dubai Hills Mall Car Showcase, where over 90 unique vehicles will be displayed in themed zones. Visitors can also engage with a Gaming Truck Activation featuring VR automotive games and enter to win a luxury car. From January 3 to 5, Circuit De Meydan x DSF Auto Season will feature 20 custom-modified cars and bespoke bicycles in an event blending automotive and cycling excitement. Later, from January 9 to 12, Dubai Festival City Mall will host The Drift Home x DSF Auto Season, a thrilling drifting competition. Motorsport fans can head to the Dubai Autodrome on January 11 and 12 for the Michelin 24H Dubai endurance race, featuring high-performance cars and elite racing teams. The series, part of the prestigious Hankook 24H Series, promises heart-stopping action. The season concludes with the exclusive WEB3 Auction on January 12 at Dubai Design District.
