Rare elephants to call Dubai Safari Park home

  DUBAI – Officials from Dubai Municipality have confirmed that a herd of endangered Asian elephants will be making Safari Park their new home. A team specialising in safari parks is currently coordinating with various local authorities, including the Ministry of Climate Change and Environment and Water and international animal organisations to ensure that the animals are safely relocated to their new environment. The herd will be an addition to the park’s growing animal population, including lions, bears, bats and crocodiles. Safari Park is located at Al Warqa'a 5 where it covers 119 hectares of land at a total cost of Dh1 billion.
