Etihad Airways recognized as most punctual airline in Middle East

The worldwide aviation analytics organization Official Airline Guides Database (OAG) has recognized Etihad Airways as the most punctual airline in the Middle East and among the most reliable in the world. OAG ranked Etihad as the best in the GCC region in its Punctuality League rating for 2022. Etihad has an 81 percent on-time arrival performance within 15 minutes. It also maintained one of the lowest cancellation rates in the world, delivering a better visitor experience with consistent flight schedules. According to Mohammad Al Bulooki, Chief Operating Officer of Etihad Airways, the main goal of the airline is always to provide a safe and reliable operation. OAG defines on-time performance as a flight arriving within 15 minutes of its planned time, a standard measure in the airline industry that considers various factors that can affect operations.
