The Abu Dhabi Police recently awarded Asian expatriate Dilber Jan Rahimullah Jan for his role in preventing crime. The commendation, presented by Major General Mohammed Suhail Al Rashidi, Director of the Criminal Security Sector, underscores the police force’s commitment to fostering a safe and secure community. Rahimullah Jan works as a taxi driver in Abu Dhabi. Police said he recently played a big role in helping prevent a crime from happening, adding that his proactive efforts reflect a deep sense of civic responsibility. “His actions are a testament to the importance of community cooperation in ensuring public safety,” said Major General Al Rashidi during the ceremony. For security reasons, police did not give details about Rahimullah Jan’s involvement that helped stop a crime. The Abu Dhabi Police regularly recognize individuals who demonstrate exemplary behavior in line with the UAE's vision for security and safety. Such honors aim to encourage residents to actively contribute to crime prevention and community welfare.
