Humidity shoots up on Monday reaching up to 100 percent from 3am along the western coast, according to forecasters at the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology. The humidity extended from Sunday morning that resulted to foggy conditions in parts of the country. Forecaster said that the type of fog that hit the UAE is called a radiation fog, which is said to be common during fall and winter when the land is cooling down overnight, and in turn, cools the air close to its surface. This air then becomes saturated with moisture, resulting in condensation and fog. But this fog doesn't last that long as moisture usually dissipates as the ground becomes warm after sunrise. Dubai and northern emirates however were spared. Temperatures during the day will range from 32 degrees Celsius to 44 degrees Celsius in Dubai, Abu Dhabi, and Sharjah. Al Ain will have partially cloudy skies with average temperatures of 31 to 45 degrees Celsius and Fujairah will have some cloud formation and temperatures between 30 and 39 degrees Celsius.
