Expo 2020 Dubai dome to light up in Philippine colours on February 11

DUBAI – The Expo 2020 Dubai’s Al Wasl Dome will light up in Philippine colours on Friday (February 11) to mark Philippine National Day. The Philippine flag will be projected on the Al Wasl Dome for the first time since Expo 2020 Dubai opened in October 2021. The digital projection of the Philippine flag will last for five minutes starting at 6:45pm as the Al Wasl Dome transforms into a giant, 360-degree display screen at night. Earlier on Friday, a Philippine parade took over Expo 2020 Dubai as part of the Philippine National Day celebration. Philippine flags were waved as a drum and bugle corps, led by the Filipino Social Club, and dancers in traditional Filipino costumes paraded down the Avenue of Nations.
