Expo City Dubai reopens popular ‘flying park’ Garden in the Sky

Expo City Dubai’s popular attraction, Garden in the Sky, has reopened to the public after it was closed for maintenance on May 25. Dubbed “the flying park”, Garden in the Sky is a rotating observation tower that lifts visitors 55 metres above ground for beautiful panoramic views of the city. It is located in Jubilee Park. At night, the attraction has an out-of-this world glow, thanks to beams of light from its base, and rings of light around its observation cabins. Tickets to the tower cost Dh30, and entrance is free for children 2 years old or younger, as well as people with special needs. The attraction is open daily, from 6pm to 10pm. Meanwhile, Expo City Dubai visitors can visit nearby attractions for free, such as Al Wasl Plaza with its massive steel trellis dome featuring the world’s largest 360-degree projection surface; and Surreal, the waterfalls that defies gravity and features central spirals that produce hydrogen flames.
