A Filipina traveler from Dubai has won a 65-inch smart TV in the Philippine Airlines’ Book and Win campaign. She claimed her prize at the Philippine Airlines office in Dubai, according to airline executives on Monday (January 15). The raffle draw was held in partnership with Cleartrip.ae. The winner, Juville Aragon Vasquez, traveled to Manila last October, qualifying her for the raffle draw. According to Philippine Airlines, Varquez is a “loyal passenger” of the Philippine carrier.  Speaking to Expatmedia.net, Vasquez said she was very surprised to win the prize. "Honestly, I am not lucky in any raffle draw here in Dubai and even in the Philippines, so I did not expect to win something like this until I received a call and an email from Philippine Airlines and Cleartrip.ae," she said. "I can say I am still lucky, so thank you Philippine Airlines and Cleartrip.ae." The 38-year-old Filipina has lived in Dubai since 2008, and has previously worked as a booking and invoicing assistant at an oil and gas company. She is married and has two children. She says she always books flights for her vacation via Cleartrip.ae. "It's easy to find a flight and their customer service is very accommodating if there is a problem or issue with the booking, and their fares are cheaper," Vasquez said. The Book and Win campaign offered travelers the chance to win a smart TV if they booked a Philippine Airlines flight from the UAE to the Philippines during the promotion period that ended on November 30.
