A Filipino accused of sexually exploiting 120 children has been arrested in Dubai, Philippine Department of Interior and Local Government (DILG) Secretary Benjamin “Benhur” Abalos Jr. revealed during a Filipino community meeting on Sunday (September 8). The suspect, who is wanted by Interpol, was apprehended with the help of UAE and Singaporean authorities. Abalos explained that the man targeted minors, some as young as 10, through a Facebook page to lure victims. The DILG Secretary said he will return to Dubai on Thursday to facilitate the extradition of the suspect, who will face legal consequences in the Philippines. "He will face justice and rot in jail," Abalos said in Filipino. Abalos’ trip to Dubai was cut short due to the arrest of fugitive pastor Apollo Quiboloy, forcing the DILG Secretary to fly back to Manila immediately after his brief meeting with the Filipino community.
