  DUBAI – A Filipino expatriate in Dubai who bought a bucket of Chicking fried chicken for his office party won his first raffle draw in the UAE: a holiday ticket to Georgia. “I really couldn’t believe it. I only bought a bucket of chicken and after week I received a call that I won a ticket to Georgia,” Patrick Sandoval, 32, a sales associate for a convenience store in Dubai, told Expatmedia.net. Sandoval said he bought the 12-piece chicken bucket worth Dh66.75 for a party at the store where he has worked in the last four years. “Every time we have a party, it’s always Chicking we order… birthdays or any party in the store, we really love Chicking. The chicken is crispy and affordable. That’s our food every time we’re having a party,” the Filipino said. He added that he loves their “Filipino tasting” food, and juicy burgers. Sandoval, from Laguna province in the Philippines, said he would love to take his wife along on the holiday to Georgia. She had just returned from a vacation in the UAE to spend time with him, and the last time they spoke to each other was through a video call. Sandoval said surprising his wife with the news of another overseas trip would be a treat. His name was picked in an electronic draw at the Chicking headquarters in Dubai for the Trip to Georgia draw this month. Sandoval received his token airline ticket—along with another winner Imran UK from India—at Chicking Century Mall on Saturday.
