Filipino falls to death from Sharjah building

  SHARJAH – An investigation is underway to find out the circumstances surrounding the death of a 23-year-old Filipino man who fell to his death from a building in Sharjah, police said. The man, identified by his initials R.L.E., fell from the 14th floor balcony of his apartment in Al Nahda on Friday afternoon. He was found lifeless, lying in a pool of blood on the pavement near the building. It is believed that he died immediately from the impact of the fall. The body has been transferred to the Al Kuwaiti Hospital for an autopsy. Police have not ruled out suicide as the cause of death.
