This news follows a recent meeting between the Philippines’ Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) and several UAE companies, where discussions centered on boosting Philippine exports and investment opportunities. DTI Acting Secretary Cristina Roque recently met with representatives from Spinneys and Lulu, among other major retailers, to introduce Philippine small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) to the UAE market. This collaboration is a part of the DTI’s Bagong Pilipinas initiative, which aims for an inclusive and sustainable Philippines by boosting trade and technological growth.
