A Filipino community group in Dubai brought smiles to hundreds of families after distributing 50,000 free diapers to mothers on Sunday (April 12). The initiative was led by the Filipino Social Club UAE, benefiting 500 registered mothers of different nationalities during an event held at Reef Mall from 12pm to 5pm. Organisers said registration slots were quickly filled. “We reached 500 registered beneficiaries in just 30 minutes,” the group said. Each registered mother received a share of the diaper supply as part of the club’s ongoing gift-giving initiative, now in its second wave. The activity was supported by The Surpluss, Dubai Holding, the Community Development Authority, and volunteers from the Filipino Social Club. Organisers said the initiative aims to ease the burden on families while promoting a stronger sense of community in Dubai. The group also hinted at more activities in the coming months, encouraging residents to stay tuned for future announcements.
