Filipino expats in the UAE can now enjoy a new service that allows them to receive balikbayan boxes from their loved ones in the Philippines, thanks to LBC Express. The service, known as iBalikbayan Package, was launched during the LBC Fun Night with media and influencers at Triple7 Dubai on Tuesday (October 22). Traditionally, balikbayan boxes are sent by overseas Filipino workers to their families back home, filled with gifts and essentials. Now, with the iBalikbayan service, families in the Philippines can send gifts and packages to their loved ones residing in the UAE. The service costs Dh39 per kilogram, and packages are delivered directly to the receiver's doorstep in the UAE. Additionally, senders in the Philippines can benefit from free pickup anywhere in the country as part of LBC’s introductory offer. “We’re excited to bring the iBalikbayan service to the market, allowing families in the Philippines to send love across the miles,” said Allan Michael Bautista, Head of Sales & Marketing for Middle East Operations at LBC Express.
