Find world's fastest police car in Dubai

  DUBAI – Dubai has broken the world record again, this time making it in the Guinness World Record for having the world's fastest police car. Which supercar bagged Dubai the much-coveted Guinness certificate?   The Dubai Police's Bugatti Veyron. This super car beats even the US police's Lamborghini patrol car, with a top speed of 407 kmph over the Lambo's maximum speed of 360 kmph. Dubai Police Chief Major General Abdullah Khalifa Al Merri met delegates from the Guinness World Records this week to receive the Guinness certificate for the super fast Bugatti. The car is the jewel in the crown of the police force's fleet of luxury cars. Under the hood, the Bugatti Veyron has a 16-cylinder engine that can muster 1,200 horsepower, allowing it to reach 100 kmph in 2.5 seconds. Other supercars in the Dubai Police fleet include an Aston Martin One-77, Audi R 8, Bentley Continental GT, Ferrari FF, Lamborghini Aventador LP 700-4, Mercedes SL 63, Maclaren MP4-12C and a Nissan GTR.
