Reckless driving causing noise disturbance in residential areas can get you fined up to Dh2,000 and 12 black points on your licence, Abu Dhabi Police warned. In an AI-generated awareness video posted on X, Abu Dhabi Police advised motorists to avoid reckless driving and causing noise. Watch the video: The video opens with an Emirati family of four relaxing in their living room when they are suddenly startled by the loud noise of a car engine and screeching tires. The scene shifts to a sports car speeding recklessly down the street. The young son, speaking in Arabic, asks his father, "Dad, what's happening?" His sister follows, saying, "I'm scared." The father reassures them, "Don't worry, they are reckless youth in the neighbourhood" The mother adds, "They are terrifying everyone with these actions." The father then steps outside to speak with his neighbor, asking, "Did you hear these sounds and noises? We should file a complaint." The neighbor agrees, replying, "Yes, we heard. These troublesome youth, we should put an end to their actions." The video then cuts to an Abu Dhabi Police patrol car pulling over the reckless drivers. The officer advises, "Dear drivers, noise is considered uncivilised behaviour, tarnishing the community's image, causing disturbance, and instilling fear in others.
