Fire beaks out in Jebel Ali

  DUBAI – Thick black plumes and ash were seen rising to the skies as a big fire raged at a site near the Jumeirah Golf Estates in Jebel Ali on Saturday (April 1). A Civil Defence spokesperson said the fire erupted from a caravan near a construction site in the area. The fire reportedly spread in a two-storey caravan and labour caravan that housed construction materials and offices. No one was reported injured in the blaze. Witnesses from the Jumeirah Golf Estates say the fire started at around 10:25 a.m. Firefighters from three stations have already controlled the blaze.
