Dubai Civil Defence teams have contained a warehouse fire at a construction site in Al Habtoor City and the site is now under investigation to determine the cause of the blaze. The fire on Tuesday afternoon (May 20) broke out in a warehouse storing construction materials. According to authorities, the fire was reported to the Civil Defence’s operations room, and firefighting units from Al Quoz Fire Station responded within six minutes. Crews found the blaze to be moderate in intensity but were able to quickly contain it. “The rapid response and efficient teams enabled the field commander to declare the fire under control at 2:46pm,” a Civil Defence source said, confirming that no human casualties were recorded. The site is currently undergoing cooling operations. The case has been handed over to the competent authorities for further investigation into the cause of the fire. ICA/Expat Media
