Dubai Civil Defence has launched an investigation into a fire that broke out in a warehouse near the Abu Bakr Al Siddiq Metro station in Deira on Sunday (September 22). The fire was reported around 9:30am, sending thick clouds of smoke into the air, alarming nearby residents and commuters. Three fire squads were deployed to the scene, quickly containing the blaze. No injuries were reported, and the fire was fully extinguished after a few hours. Authorities are now working to determine the cause of the fire, which disrupted activities in the surrounding area. Although the fire was brought under control swiftly, it led to temporary closures and traffic diversions in the vicinity of the Metro station. Commuters were advised to seek alternative transportation options while cleanup operations were underway. The warehouse, located near a bustling commercial area, was reportedly storing various goods. However, details about the extent of the damage and the type of goods affected are yet to be disclosed by officials.
