The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) forecasts variable weather conditions in the UAE this week, with a mix of clear skies, cloud cover, and fog in different regions. The weather on Tuesday (September 17) will be clear to partly cloudy, with the possibility of clouds forming in the east during the afternoon. Tuesday night and early Wednesday morning will see increased humidity, especially in western areas, leading to a chance of light fog. Winds will shift to a southeasterly to northeasterly direction, turning active at times, and the sea will remain relatively calm in both the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman. The weather pattern will continue through Wednesday and Thursday, with clear to partly cloudy conditions and clouds forming in the eastern regions in the afternoon. Nights and early mornings will be humid, raising the likelihood of fog in coastal and inland areas. Winds will vary from southwesterly to northeasterly, becoming active at times. The sea conditions will be generally slight to moderate. By Friday, the UAE is expected to experience similar weather conditions, with partly cloudy skies, cloud formations in the east, and a humid night and morning with the possibility of fog or light fog in coastal and inland areas. Winds will be southwesterly to northwesterly, turning active at times, with speeds up to 35 km/h. Residents are advised to stay updated with the NCM's weather forecasts and take necessary precautions during foggy conditions, especially during early morning commutes.

Friday, September 20

Fair to partly cloudy at times, and clouds will appear eastward by afternoon. Humid by night and Saturday morning over some coastal and internal areas with a chance of fog or mist formation.
