Foggy mornings are back in UAE

  DUBAI – Parts of the UAE woke up to thick fog on Saturday as the national weather bureau forecast more fog in upcoming days. Fog formation with poor visibility of less than 1,000 meters was reported over Al Minhad, Sharjah, Dubai, Sweihan and adjoining areas, according to the National Centre of Meteorology and Seismology (NCMS). The weather bureau said that the weather will be fair in general but relative humidity is likely to increase during the night and on Sunday morning over scattered areas, with a chance of fog formation. Saturday's temperature will hit a maximum of 41 degrees Celcius in internal areas, and will drop to 15 degrees in mountainous areas. Humidity will reach 95 percent in internal areas and fall to 5 percent in mountainous areas, according to NCMS.

Sunday

On Sunday, after the early morning fog clears, the weather will be fair in general and partly cloudy at times by afternoon over some eastern areas. Fog is forecast at night and early morning.

Monday

On Monday, the NCMS forecasts fog formation in the early morning, especially in internal western areas. The weather is expected to be fair in general.
