Autopsy to be conducted Swedish-Iraqi national's body to determine cause of death

  SHARJAH - A 45-year-old Swedish national of Iraqi origin was found dead inside his hotel room in this city on Monday. The foreigner, identified as M.A., was found unconscious in his room by a friend who immediately informed the hotel's management. The hotel taff called an ambulance to bring the foreigner to the Al Kuwaiti hospital but he was already dead on arrival. Investigation by the police showed that the foreigner arrived last week with his family to spend the New Year in the UAE. He sent his family back to Sweden after the New Year celebration and told them them he would follow after a day or two. On the day he was found dead, M.A. was supposed to leave for Sweden via Dubai. Police invited some of the foreigner's friends in Dubai for questioning and will wait for the forensic report on the autopsy to be done on the foreigner to determine the cause of death before any further action is made. The hotel's staff said M.A. looked fine when he saw him return to his room and did not notice any suspicious activity during his stay.
