A free CPR training and certification session for Filipinos in Dubai has been fully booked ahead of its scheduled date on Friday (July 25), the Philippine Consulate General in Dubai announced. More sessions are now being planned due to high interest, said Philippine Consul General Marford Angeles on Wednesday (July 23). The training—part of the Sagip Dubai Heart Safe City Certification initiative—offers Filipinos the opportunity to learn life-saving skills in cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) and the use of automated external defibrillators (AED). Participants will also receive a certificate upon completion. The consulate said it was encouraged by the strong turnout and the community’s eagerness to be part of a life-saving mission."The Sagip Dubai Heart Safe City Certification Training for July 25 is now fully booked. We thank everyone for the overwhelming response and strong commitment to building a heart-safe community,”  Philippine Consul General Angeles said. “Due to continued interest, we are preparing additional training sessions in the coming weeks. Those who were unable to secure a slot this round may register their interest through bit.ly/Sagip-DHSC-Certification,” he added. The initiative is open to Filipinos in Dubai and the Northern Emirates, regardless of background or profession, and requires no prior medical experience. The training equips participants with critical skills they can use during cardiac emergencies at home, work, or in public. More training dates will be announced soon on the consulate’s official channels.
