Passengers arriving at Dubai airport get free Expo 2020 passport

DUBAI – Free Expo 2020 passports are being doled out to passengers arriving at Dubai airports, according to the General Directorate of Residency and Foreigners Affairs (GDRFA). According to GDRFA, some 3,000 souvenir passports for the Expo 2020 will be given out to tourists, visitors and residents at passport control. "Amid the optimism and joy which prevailed at Dubai airports, Dubai started granting 3,000 Expo 2020 passports to those coming to the UAE," according to GDRFA. The Expo 2020 passport is a souvenir booklet that visitors can use to collect stamps from the pavilions they visit at Expo 2020. The yellow booklet is among the most popular souvenirs at Expo 2020. It costs Dh20. The 50-page booklet contains a special page stamped in gold foil to mark the UAE jubilee. Visitors collecting stamps can receive an exclusive stamp on December 2, the UAE's 50th anniversary. Tickets to Expo 2020 costs Dh95 per entry or Dh495 for a season pass. Entry is free for senior citizens, students, children and household workers. ICA/Expat Media
