Visitors to the 44th Sharjah International Book Fair (SIBF 2025) can now enjoy free transport options from Sharjah, Dubai, and Ajman, thanks to expanded services announced by the Sharjah Book Authority (SBA). Running from November 5 to 16 at Expo Centre Sharjah, the new routes include shuttle buses and marine transport designed to make travel easier for book lovers. Two free shuttle buses will operate daily from Al Rashidiya Bus Station in Dubai and City Centre Ajman. Each route will run three times a day, ensuring convenient travel to and from the fairgrounds. Visitors from Dubai can also travel via the FR5 marine transport service connecting Al Ghubaiba Marine Station in Dubai to Sharjah Aquarium Marine Station. From there, traditional boats will provide free onward rides to Expo Centre Sharjah and Al Qasba throughout the fair’s opening hours. Badr Mohammed Saab, Director of Government Communications at SBA, said: “SIBF attendance continues to grow each year, and in response, we have expanded transport services with new routes and additional modes of travel to improve access for visitors. We also extend our thanks to Dubai’s Roads and Transport Authority for its ongoing support.”

Shuttle buses: • From Dubai (Al Rashidiya Bus Station): 9am, 1pm, 5pm • From Ajman (City Centre Ajman): 9am, 1pm, 5pm • Return trips from Expo Centre Sharjah: 12pm, 4pm, 9pm Marine transport (Sharjah Aquarium to Al Ghubaiba, Dubai): • Weekdays (Mon–Thu): 7am, 8:30am, 1pm, 4:45pm, 6:15pm • Fridays: 7am, 8:30am, 2pm, 4pm, 6pm • Weekends (Sat–Sun): 2pm, 4pm, 6pm, 9pm Marine transport (Al Ghubaiba, Dubai to Sharjah): • Weekdays (Mon–Thu): 7:45am, 12pm, 4pm, 5:30pm, 7pm • Fridays: 7:45am, 10am, 3pm, 5pm, 7pm • Weekends (Sat–Sun): 3pm, 5pm, 8pm, 10pm
