Worshippers in Dubai heading to church this Easter weekend will benefit from free shuttle services to the Jebel Ali Church Complexes, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) announced. From April 18 to 20, the RTA will operate complimentary bus rides between Energy Metro Station and the churches from 8am to 8pm. The initiative is part of the authority’s commitment to supporting community events and promoting harmony and coexistence among Dubai’s diverse population. “The move is in line with the directives of the UAE’s leadership to foster tolerance and inclusiveness,” the RTA said in a statement. Residents attending Easter services in Oud Metha can also reach the area easily via Oud Metha Metro Station, with a short walk to the nearby church. The initiative is expected to ease traffic congestion in Jebel Ali and provide a safe and convenient transportation option for those attending religious services. ICA/Expat Media
