Ready for self service at petrol stations?

  ABU DHABI – Starting in mid-April, new services will be rolled out at Adnoc stations allowing customers to pay for a new premium service or to opt for self-service. Adnoc Distribution announced that premium and self-serve options will be rolled out to other stations across the UAE in 2018. As a safety feature, touch pads and gloves will be introduced at stations for self-serve customers to use. Details of the premium fuel service fee are being finalised and will be released in the coming weeks. Elderly customers and people of determination will be exempt from premium-service charges.

Fuel delivered anywhere

A new service called MyStation is also being launched to deliver fuel or LPG cylinders to anyone, anywhere in the UAE. The MyStation service, which delivers gasoline fuel or LPG cylinders to customers via an app, is currently on a trial run in Abu Dhabi. "This is a major change in how we serve our customers. To support a smooth roll-out of the new services, we are increasing staffing levels at stations with premium and self-serve options, launching an extensive education campaign and waiving the premium service fee for an initial period while customers familiarise themselves with the new options," said Saeed Al Rashdi, acting CEO of Adnoc Distribution.
