A potential drop in fuel prices in the UAE for September is expected as global oil prices remained low throughout August, compared to the previous month. Since the deregulation of retail fuel prices took effect in the UAE in 2015, fuel prices have been revised at the end of every month to align with market conditions. Local fuel prices in the UAE were slightly increased in August with Super 98, Special 95, and E-Plus priced at Dh3.05, Dh2.93, and Dh2.86 per litre, respectively. UAE is yet to announce September's fuel price revision. Motorists in UAE, especially those budget-conscious, are looking forward to this month's revision to plan their spending. FLE/Expat Media
