The Fujairah International Airport has launched special charter flights in partnership with Oman-based SalamAir to assist stranded travellers amid ongoing regional tensions. The charter services are operating on March 4 and 5, with a stopover in Muscat. From there, passengers can continue to Calicut, Hyderabad, Lucknow, Istanbul and Karachi. Airport officials said the initiative is aimed at supporting travellers affected by widespread flight disruptions and ensuring safe journeys during a challenging period. Coordination has been carried out with airline crews, ground handling teams and authorities to facilitate smooth departures. Fujairah International Airport confirmed that it remains fully operational. Authorities said they are working closely with relevant agencies to maintain efficient airport services. Passengers have been advised to check directly with their airlines for the latest flight updates before travelling to the airport. Officials said the airport continues to monitor developments and will respond to changing travel needs as required.
