Fujairah Police arrested a camp owner and several residents for violating National Day celebration rules during the UAE's 53rd National Day festivities. The violations included the use of party sprays, which are prohibited under the Ministry of Interior's guidelines. Authorities stated that the actions disrupted public order and were unrelated to the spirit of Union Day. “These measures are in place to ensure celebrations remain safe and enjoyable for everyone,” Fujairah Police said. Reckless driving incidents were also reported in the Al Faqit area, with several motorists taken into custody. The Ministry of Interior had earlier issued 14 rules for National Day celebrations, urging residents to avoid illegal parades and gatherings, adhere to traffic laws, and refrain from altering vehicle appearances. Despite these incidents, the majority of residents adhered to the guidelines, enjoying parades, fireworks, and cultural events organized across the country. Fujairah Police emphasized the importance of respecting public safety measures and promised strict enforcement to deter violations in the future.
