Did you know you can visit Saudi Arabia for up to 96 hours without having to pay for a visa? This is now possible after the country launched its Stopover Visa this year. The Stopover Visa is part of a range of initiatives introduced by the Saudi government to encourage more people to visit the country. The Stopover visa is free for passengers traveling on Saudia airline or Flynas airline. The visa allows visitors to stay in Saudi Arabia for up to 96 hours, or 4 days. Meanwhile, Saudi Arabia has extended its visa on arrival option to GCC residents, as well as holders of valid US, UK and Schengen visa, and permanent residents of UK, US or any EU country. Earlier this week, Saudi Arabia also launched an instant tourist e-visa that is available to UK, US, and Schengen visas holders, as well as permanent residents of UK, US, and any EU country to obtain tourist e-visas to Saudi Arabia. To get tourist e-visas to Saudi Arabia, travelers can go to www.mofa.gov.sa. Saudi Arabia has previously extended regulation to provide visas on arrival to the six categories. ICA/Expat Media
