Filipinos tied anew with Indons in team rankings; both teams also have no losses so far

  MANILA – The Philippines is now tied with Timnas Basket of Indonesia in the team ranking of the ongoing 2017 Southeast Asian Basketball Association (SEABA) Championship after scoring its fourth win over Thailand last night. Both the Filipinos and Indons have no losses so far in the seven-day tournament, which ends tomorrow. Gilas and Timnas will have a chance to play against each other tomorrow night at 7, with each team out to prove who are the kings of Southeast Asia basketball and represent the sub-zone in the FIBA Asia Cup in Lebanon this August. Raj impressed the crowd at the Smart Araneta Coliseum with his 19 points, 5 rebounds and three blocked shots. Raj was assisted by Leon Kwek, Lyon Chia and Johrathon Cheok.
