Six-year-old girl to host girls empowered NFT session at Expo 2020 Dubai

A six-year-old French-based girl will host a special women and girls empowerment event in the form of non-fungible tokens (NFT) at the Expo 2020 Dubai on Monday (March 28). Lily will be the main speaker of the NFT Women Financial Power initiative and cyber security at the Israel Pavilion. She will also talk about her new NFT venture Rainbow Girls with the aim to create the first girls’ NFT community in the world. For her NFTs, her hand-drawn art is digitalized and layered, amounting to 1,000 NFTs. Despite the most sought-after NFTs being created by men, Lily is determined to encourage girls around the world to make their space in the NFT community. “But when I say that to people, they tell me, ‘You’re just a little girl. You have to wait!’ ‘A child cannot change the world.’ Maybe I cannot change everything. But I know that every day is an opportunity for a small change! So, girls around the world join my journey, to be: aware,” she said. A non-fungible token or popularly known as NFT is defined by Medium as a unique digital asset that represents a real-life object such as art, games, videos, and even tweets. These irreplaceable tokens are only sold online and are recorded through blockchain technology. KSO/Expat Media
