Global Village extended its temporary closure on Monday (March 2), following guidance aimed at protecting visitors, staff and residents. The popular venue was also closed on Sunday (March 1) as a "precautionary safety measure in line with official guidance". The measure follows Iranian-launched missile and drone strikes on the UAE since February 28, which prompted emergency alerts and precautionary closures across public venues. Officials said reopening dates will be announced through official channels when it is safe to do so. Visitors were urged to stay tuned to Global Village’s official platforms for updates.
