Move over playgrounds — there’s a new place for kids to play, and it’s on the rooftop… with goats! This October and November, Expo City Dubai has launched the delightful Goat Festival, a family-friendly attraction at Terra — The Sustainability Pavilion, where visitors can meet five adorable pygmy goats. The event runs on October 25 and 26 and November 1 and 2, from 10am to 6pm, offering guided rooftop garden tours every 30 minutes where families can get up close with the goats and learn about their role in maintaining healthy ecosystems. Children can also join creative workshops — from making goat masks and bookmarks to planting mini gardens — and even play games at the festival’s “Be The GOAT” zone. The fun continues with a Rescue Animal Encounter, where kids meet rehabilitated animals while learning about compassion and environmental care. Tickets are Dh50 for guests aged 3 and above (free for under 3s) and available on Expo City’s official website.
