If you plan on bringing loads of items on your flight between Dubai and Manila, you don’t need to worry about extra baggage on Philippine Airlines. The Philippine carrier has extended its extra baggage promotion until August 31, Josh Vasquez, Philippine Airlines’ Regional Head for EMEA, confirms to Expatmedia.net. How does it work? Philippine Airlines normally allows passengers to carry up to two checked-in luggage on its Dubai-Manila and Manila-Dubai flights. This time, it is offering an additional piece of luggage as part of the checked-in baggage allowance, allowing passengers to carry a total of three checked-in luggage weighing at 23kg per luggage. “On top of this a passenger can bring one hand carry luggage weighing up to 7kg,” Vasquez said. This makes the total baggage allowance on Dubai-Manila flights 76kg per passenger for four pieces of luggage. “That means more pasalubong for your loved ones!” Vasquez said. To avail of the extra baggage promotion, travelers need to purchase their tickets on or before August 31 at the Philippine Airlines ticketing office in Dubai, on Philippineairlines.com or from travel agencies across the UAE.
