*Updated on January 23, 2025 American rock icons Green Day will headline their first Middle East concert at Expo City Dubai on January 27, 2025 and fans will have the chance to win a VIP upgrade. The five-time Grammy Award-winning band will be supported by fellow American rockers, The Offspring, in what promises to be one of the most highly anticipated concerts of the year. Dubai Metro services will be extended until 12:05am, providing the 30,000 expected music fans with a convenient and seamless journey option to and from the highly anticipated show. Concert-goers are encouraged to arrive early ahead of doors opening at 5pm to avoid delays. Fans who purchase two Golden Circle or Regular Standing tickets between October 1 and 14 will automatically be entered into a draw for a chance to win a VIP upgrade. The promotion coincides with the 20th anniversary of Green Day’s hit single "Wake Me Up When September Ends." Tickets can be purchased via greendaydxb.com. Green Day’s debut performance in the region will take place in a purpose-built, open-air venue capable of accommodating 30,000 fans. Fans can expect a mix of their biggest hits, such as "Boulevard of Broken Dreams" and "American Idiot," along with songs from their latest album, Saviors, released earlier this year. The Offspring, known for their hits like "Pretty Fly (for a White Guy)" and "The Kids Aren’t Alright," will kick off the evening. Presented by All Things Live Middle East in partnership with Dubai Calendar and Expo City Dubai, the event promises a night of nostalgic hits and modern rock anthems.
