More jobs open for Filipinos in Guam

  MANILA – More jobs for Filipino workers have opened up in the construction service sector in Guam, according to the Philippine employment authority. The Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE) said accredited employers have sent increasing requests for Filipino workers in Guam. The Philippine Overseas Labor Office in Los Angeles (POLO LA) said that jobs are open for skilled and semi-skilled Filipino workers in Guams’s construction service sector. POLO LA said Guam’s Department of Labor Director David Dell’Solla reached out to their office expressing the intent of several contractors in Guam to hire more skilled Filipinos for the construction and maintenance job categories. Guam’s labor director shared the brightening prospect of employing Filipino nationals under H2 visas as he explained the procedures and requirements for the continuing absorption of Filipino workers in Guam.
