The UAE experienced a second day of heavy rain on Monday (September 30), as parts of the country were drenched due to the ongoing impact of a surface air depression. The National Centre of Meteorology (NCM) reported rainfall of varying intensity across several regions, including Malakat, Masaken, and parts of Al Ain and Dubai. Ghilan and Al Rams in Ras Al Khaimah also witnessed moderate precipitation, with the lowest temperature recorded at 19.3°C in Jabal Mabrah. The NCM has forecast further rainfall on Tuesday (October 1), particularly in the eastern and southern parts of the country, where cumulus clouds are expected to form. Winds will blow from the southeast to northeast, reaching speeds of up to 35 km/h. The sea in the Arabian Gulf and the Sea of Oman will remain calm, according to the weather bureau. Looking ahead, the weather on Wednesday is predicted to be clear to partly cloudy, with possible precipitation at night in coastal and inland areas. Winds are expected to be light to moderate, with calm seas across the region. On Thursday, conditions will be similarly clear, though humidity levels are expected to rise, with potential for fog in some coastal and inland areas. The NCM has also issued a weather alert for Friday, with the possibility of light to moderate winds in the Arabian Gulf. Waves may be moderate to high in some areas, and fog is expected to form overnight into Saturday. As the UAE continues to experience varying weather conditions, residents are urged to stay updated on the latest forecasts and take precautions during periods of heavy rain and fog. ICA/Expat Media
