If you’ve ever checked into a hotel and immediately regretted not bringing a dog you don’t even own—you understand exactly how we felt walking into Radisson RED Dubai Silicon Oasis. One paw-print decal at the entrance and suddenly we had puppy eyes. This hotel doesn’t just love dogs—it practically rolls out the red carpet and asks if they’d like a welcome drink. At the lobby, our Expat Media editors half expected a French Bulldog in a bow tie to hand us our room keys. Radisson RED is playful without being chaotic: bold art, youthful energy, and décor that feels like it was curated by someone cool enough to pull off mismatched socks. Even as dogless humans, we were charmed. At the entrance? A dog water station. At Oui Sports Bar + Terrace? Dogs with their own bowls, lounging like seasoned regulars. We met Henry, a Basenji with more personality than most influencers. Nearby, a polite Labrador waited by his owner’s feet as she chatted over a drink and a burger. It felt like a canine café society. Our family suite was equally delightful. Graffiti art everywhere, from a falcon wearing headphones to camels doodled on the cabinet. Even the bathroom tiles looked like mini microphones for Mariah moments. The sofa bed converted into an extra sleeping space and dogs get their own in-room dog bed, feeding bowl, and treats, making it clear that pets aren’t just allowed here, they’re valued guests. The walkway connecting buildings doubles as an art gallery, arcade, work station, pop-up market, podcast hub, and charming library. We donated an Expat Media magazine, then lost at Street Fighter like true elder millennials! Meals? Jones the Grocer for dinner, and Oui Sports Bar for breakfast and lunch. All consistently excellent. Will we return? Absolutely. And next time, we’re dragging the dalmatians!
