A Saudi family’s nightmare came to an end when Egyptian authorities arrested a housemaid accused of kidnapping their two-year-old daughter in Giza, Egypt. The incident began when the maid, newly hired by the family, offered to take the toddler to a nearby supermarket but failed to return. Giza Police launched an intensive search, finding the girl abandoned on a street in Dokki hours later. Major General Sameh Al Humaili praised officers for their swift action, saying, “The safety of every child is a priority.” The maid was detained and is being questioned about her motives.
