  HOUSTON – After 24 years as owner, Leslie Alexander is putting the Houston Rockets team for sale "after much deliberation with his family and friends". He did not say why. The Rockets has won two NBA titles in the first two since seasons after Alexander bought the team and in 24 seasons with Alexander, the Rockets have won 56.9 percent of their games – the NBA's fifth-highest. ESPN, meanwhile, said interest in buying the Rockets might come from outside the US as it is the No. 1 team in Asia due to the popularity of former All-Star Yao Ming of China, who played for Houston for nine years.
