Dubai foodies are in for a treat as IchiRyu Ramen House unveiled its newest branch in Dubai Marina with an exclusive preview on Monday (September 29), ahead of its official grand opening on October 1. The Dubai Marina restaurant marks the brand’s expansion following the success of its flagship outlet in Wasl Port Views. The preview was attended by key figures behind the brand — Nicolai De Guzman, IchiRyu Chairman and Chief Design Officer; Chef Touru De Guzman, IchiRyu Executive Chef; and Karl De Guzman, IchiRyu President and Chief Operating Officer — along with distinguished guests, including Philippine Consul General to Dubai Marford Angeles and Japanese Consul General to Dubai Jun Imanishi. Also present were Beth Climaco-De Guzman, IchiRyu Chief Marketing Officer; Kimishige Akino, IchiRyu adviser, and Maryrose Marcellano, IchiRyu Chief Finance Officer. Set in the Marina First Building, the new 3,000-square-foot restaurant accommodates 109 diners and showcases the charm of Kyoto through a traditional, cozy, and autumnal ambiance. Its interiors feature a two-meter-high busho, Japanese armors, a 1.8-meter doll, a hannya mask, maple trees, and a torii gate inspired by the Fushimi Inari Taisha shrine in Kyoto. A private dining room that can seat up to 10 people is also available. Exclusive to the Marina branch are new menu items such as nigiri, sashimi, tartare, and temaki, complemented by a dessert and drinks bar serving iced and hot matcha lattes. Patrons can still enjoy IchiRyu’s signature ramen, renowned for its rich and flavorful broth, along with its unique Bocchi Seki concept — solo dining booths that allow guests to savor their meals in peaceful solitude. IchiRyu Ramen House has earned recognition this year alone with four international awards, including Best Ramen Restaurant from the Arabian Best of Best Awards, Best Ramen Restaurant UAE from the International Business Magazine Awards, Best Ramen Restaurant UAE from the World Business Outlook, and Excellence in Restaurant Services from The Bizz Awards USA.
